A whole day dedicated to a very important topic for all dancers: MUSICALITY.
Two workshops and then to follow… our tango practice!
WORKSHOP 1 / 3 pm – 4 pm
Discovering the rhythm with bombo leguero – live percussion – and exploring music beat and dancing improvisation. Open level.
WORKSHOP 2 / 4.15 pm 5.15 pm
Milonga- Tips&Trick – How to dance exploiting musical variations and different possibilities of interpretation and performance. Open level.
TANGO PRACTICE / 5.30 pm-7:30 pm
Two hours to practice everything that we have (or haven’t) learned and dance dance dance.
With teachers and assistants available for help.

Argentine duo “Di Tango Y Otras Yerbas” formed by German Leuizamon and Inti Lihué play their version of a famous and beautiful Tango song composed by Carlos Gardel (music) and Alfredo Le Pera (lyrics): “El día que me quieras”.
Shot in a few hours of pure improvisation, during a rainy autumn day, this video is a simple tribute to Argentine Tango which is music, dancing and poetry and which has crossed the time to reach us, more alive than ever.
It was recorded for the first time in New York on March 19th, 1934 for RCA label: it was the A side of a 78 rpm and was the main theme of the homonymous John Reinhardt’s movie starring Gardel together with the actress and dancer Rosita Moreno.
“El día que me quieras” ‘s lyrics by Le Pera are a reworking of Amando Nervo’s poem included in the book El arquero divino (1919).
